The #Shift concept, location and line up. Are you shifting with us?

We are talking about the #Shift concept on this blog and posting great content from featured speakers that will be joining us in a few weeks in NYC. But all of the sudden, the PGi team realized, we have not explicitly laid out…. what it IS. In its entirety.

So here are the basics with links to speakers. We could not be more excited and know that the conversations at #ShiftNYC will amaze and inspire all who attend. And if you can’t attend, don’t worry – we will be posting video clips, live blogs and other commentary right here.

THE CONCEPT

The unprecedented amount of information, connectivity, energy and creativity happening in the world today is redefining how we work. #ShiftNYC is a four-day event that will address collaboration and what we know as “work”, from the spaces where we work to the products we create. Hosted by audio, web and video conferencing provider PGi, each day will highlight a different theme – including social enterprise, interactive media/social TV, the new work life, socializing investor relations and integrating creative strategy.

THE LOCATION

SOHO House New York, September 26-29, 2011

The Soho House New York is a private members-only club that acts as the daytime communal workspace for professionals, event space and a boutique luxury hotel all in one. During the #ShiftNYC event, attendees will have at their disposal everything they need to work remotely from Soho House as a temporary office.
